Dave's Docs

Twenty (2011)

The full story of one of the most influential bands of the Seattle-grunge era: Pearl Jam. From the beginning when they originally formed as Mother Love Bone, and the tragic death of the original front-man, they never thought they’d find another singer quite like Andrew Wood. Then came Eddie Vedder on the whim of a demo track he mailed to the band when they decided to start looking for a replacement to fill the impossible shoes of their original lead singer. From there, Pearl Jam was born. Between their raucous live concerts in the early days, and later head-on battles with Ticketmaster’s legal team, this 2 hour doc is nothing short of captivating. A must for any fan of 90’s rock. I score it a whopping 46.5 licks.
