Anvil: The Story of Anvil (2008)
The band that just never quite reached the top of the mountain but had a chance to kiss the sky. On top of an early brush with major success, Anvil are true metal music fans. Opening up for giant acts in 1982 like Metallica and Anthrax, the movie quickly fast forwards 25 years. We find the band still booking their own failing tours, trying to score that big record deal with renowned producers, and arguing amongst themselves as they come to grips with the reality that this ship is slowly but inevitably sinking.
