Many folks don’t know that when they first broke into the British music scene, The Who had a pair of streetwise managers - Kit Lambert and Chris Stamp. These men started off as two ambitious filmmakers trying to document the Mod/Rock underground concerts and drug-fueled parties early 60’s until they met the band that became The Who. This doc follows the band’s early career and how these managers and confidants were partially responsible for the band’s early success, drug & alcohol addictions, methods of scamming money, and even the band’s own name and logo that we still see today.
